Abstract
Stress is a condition that is vulnerable experienced by students who are completing thesis. Based on the observation of 30 students in IKIP Mataram, found about 9 students had mild stress, 15 had moderate stress and 6 had severe stress. Student stress is thought to be influenced by several factors. This research was conducted to get regression model, to know the factors that influence stress level and to know the magnitude of influence of student stress level. The data used were obtained from a questionnaire that was disseminated on FPMIPA students as many as 100 students using purposive sampling technique. The method used is ordinal logistic regression analysis. The response and predictor variables data were transformed in dummy variables, with mild stress 1 dummy, 2 moderate stress and 3 severe stress and 0 experienced factor and 1 did not experience any factor. The results showed that the factors that influence the stress level of students in completing the thesis are confused factors to develop theory and difficult to find the literature. Based on the model feasibility test using the deviance test, the model is declared feasible. Logistic regression model obtained is and. Values indicate that students who experience confusion in developing the theory tend to raise stress levels by 3.4 times compared to students who are not confused in developing the theory. Value = 6.4 indicates that students who have difficulty in finding the literature tend to raise stress levels by 6.4 times compared to students who have no difficulty in finding the literature
