The study population was 234 students with a total sample of 148 students. The sampling technique was done by using proportionate stratified random sampling. The Data collection used instruments of critical thinking skills tests and tests of scientific literacy abilities. Data analysis techniques was used descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of descriptive statistical analysis showed that the category of learning achievement for critical thinking skills of students included in to the less category. The number of critical thinking skills of students was 39.70, while the ability of scientific literacy included in to the very poor category with a number 51.09. Inferential statistical analysis was used prerequisite tests and hypothesis tests. The prerequisite test was used data normality test and data linearity test. The results of the hypothesis test was used Pearson Product Moment correlation show the value of rxy = 0.20; coefficient of determination of 4 %; and t = 2.4535> ttable = 1.6553. In conclusion, there is a positive and significant relationship between critical thinking skills and the ability of scientific literacy in students with a low level of correlation.
