Abstract
The argument to be made below presents the basics of what we call culture, taking into account its spread among the population within the state of So Paulo in order to analyze how this influences and dissolves in the daily lives of its inhabitants and, mainly in the region of President Prudent. The methodology of this study, is funded through a literature review, which takes place from readings of authors, their texts and data they set in order the relationship between theory and practice, as expressed in the case study carried out in the main development center and cultural production of the city, the Matarazzo Cultural Center.
