Abstract
An earthquake will have an impact on the level of community welfare. One impact that has occurred in NTB is that tourist visits have declined. This study aims to determine the impact of the earthquake on tourist visits in the province of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). The research approach used is qualitative supported by secondary data from various sources such as: NTB Central Statistics Agency, NTB Bappeda, NTB Tourism Office, Tourism Association, NTB SCC Secretariat Bangkit, 7 Regency / City Tourism Agency (6 districts, 1 city), BPBD and Basarnas. The location of the study was carried out in 7 districts / cities in NTB. The results showed that tourist arrivals in NTB Province had decreased after the earthquake. As a result of earthquakes such as: 1) Tourist visits have decreased. 2) Local potential is difficult to develop. 3) the economic level of the community has decreased, 4) investors who want to invest shares or capital in NTB will be difficult to realize.
