Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of contextual teaching  and learning (CTL) learning models on social studies learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN 6 Cakranegara  2019/2020  school year. this studi is an experimental research type Quasi experimental type nonequivalent control group design. the population of this study was all students  of grade V and cakranegara.this research technique used in sampling is saturated sampling with is saturated sampling with as many as 29 students of class VA and 29 students of class VB sdn 6 cakranegara. data collection teachniques in this study are learning outcomes tests using multiple choice tests (pre-test) and ( post-test). this data was analyzed with the help of SPSS versios 16. testing the hypothesisof the study using independent sample T-test test calculation. the results showed the value of t –count 3.172>t tabel 1.176 at 5% significance with df=56, then ha was accepten and ho was rejected. the research hypothesis is accepted as the effect of the contextual teaching  and learning (CTL) learning model on the learning outcomes of IPS students in grade V SDN 6 Cakranegara Academic Year 2019/2020.
