Abstract

The earthquake in Lombok with a magnitude of 7.0 SR on 5-8-2018 and 19-8-2018 had a very wide impact. More than 500 people died, 1,033 people suffered serious injuries and tens of thousands of buildings collapsed as well as damage to road and bridge infrastructure. This earthquake also resulted in a land shift (liquefaction or shear mechanism). Liquefaction or soil mechanical displacement also causes some road segments to collapse both transverse and longitudinal types, because the soil beneath it becomes loose and causes the road foundation (LPA, LPB) to break. Seeing the condition of North Lombok Regency after the earthquake, with the level of damage to roads and bridges that occurred, requires a rapid evaluation so that the establishment of policies for handling road network maintenance can be done immediately within a certain period of time to ensure that the conditions are still able to provide optimal service to road users and distribution help. Inventory of damage to 59 road segments is done to accelerate accurate and appropriate road handling decision making processes. The results of the survey and field analysis show the condition of the pavement of the national road network, and district roads in North Lombok due to the low axle load and the road is in a fairly good condition and is still able to provide good service to road users (PR and PB), although some road segments have decreased structural conditions. However, in some road segments that have damaged structures in the form of collapse, it is necessary to review the estimated occurrence of liquefaction or shear mechanism on the ground so that it requires a different form of handling.
