Abstract

This research is focused on address terms applied by Aa Gym in his religious discourse, Manajemen Qalbu, based on three formulation of the problems, namely form, function, dan meaning. Some relevant theories applied to analyze those three problems stated. To describe the form of address terms, the theory of address terms used by Brown and Gilman (1960) and Braun (1984) are applied. This research is qualitative research. Data collected by using library research and interview. Based on the formulation of the problems stated, several findings are found.First, in this research is proved that the form of address terms applied by Aa Gym in his religious discourse, Manajemen Qalbu, has Tu-Vous formula in personal pronouns, personal names, kinship terms, and titles.
