Abstract
Carbon dioxide (CO2) is a gas that is very influential on global warming, which is about 60%. Therefore, the problem of carbon gas needs to be immediately solved. So, the greenhouse effect is reduced and leads to the reduction of global warming. However, as time goes by, oxygen levels in the world have dwindled due to global warming caused by pollution in the industrial gases or emissions from motor vehicles. These problems require a material to separate CO2 and O2, which O2 content must be higher to improve the quality of clean air. In this case, one of the things that can improve the quality of air is the utilization of zeolite Y carbon-based membranes. Zeolites can capture CO2 by adsorption. Some materials used to adsorb CO2 gas include carbon, zeolites, regular mesoporous silica, and metal-organic frameworks. The research method we do in developing our project is development (Research and Development). The research method Research and Development. Therefore, the results we get from the carbon Membrane project are Zeolite benzophenone-3,3 ', 4,4'-tetracarboxylic dianhydride-4,4'-oxidianillin (BTDA-ODA) with a composition of 12% by weight in the solvent N-methyl pyrrolidine (NMP). With the use of zeolite with a Y template and the RBA system, it can solve the problem of air pollution that is around us. Keyword : Porosity, Rotatory Bed Adsorption Zeolites.
