Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find out how parents' hopes for early childhood education during the Covid-19 pandemic in Praya District. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with case study type. The object of research is all parents who have early childhood and are currently pursuing early childhood education in Praya District. Data collection methods in this study using a questionnaire and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study was the flow model data analysis according to Miles and Huberman. From this research, it was found that distance / online learning was considered to be able to improve the quality of learning, including in the field of self-proficiency during Covid-19 by providing guidance and supervision during the learning process, even though distance / online learning cost more. Many parents hope that school learning will reopen as usual with the consideration that schools apply health protocols with restrictions on the number of children in the class, schools have provided hygiene and health facilities and schools have collaborated with the closest health center regarding health facilities.
