Abstract
Stunting is a linear growth disorder caused by malnutrition and chronic infectious diseases. The incident occurred repeatedly as indicated by the Z-Score of height for age (TB/U) less than -2 standard deviations (SD) based on WHO standards. Parenting is an indirect cause of stunting and if not implemented properly can be a direct cause of stunting, meaning that parenting is the dominant factor as a cause of stunting. This study aims to determine the relationship between maternal parenting and stunting in children aged 12-59 months in the working area of the Public Health Center, Bima. Methods: The research design in this study was cross sectional study. The population of this study was 270 mothers who had stunted children aged 12-59 months in 2019.
