Abstract

This study raised the issue of child problems, with the focus of the study of Children Facing the Law. Departing from the research title "Phenomenological Studies of Children Facing The Law at the Mataram Children's Special Development Institute". The results showed that the vulnerability of children facing the law (read: Anak Berhadapan dengan Hukum or ABH) is caused by dysfunction of family foster care patterns and the dominant influence of the social environment. The status as ABH has made them feel ashamed/disappointed/and sorry for the deviant behavior that has been done. ABH believes that the family can receive their presence again after undergoing coaching at LPKA, but they realize that the community will give a negative stigma to its status as ABH. The process of socialization of ABH is carried out by LPKA Mataram through personality coaching, self-reliance coaching, and education. The socialization process has made ABH learn from its current experience, ABH in the future has hopes in the form of: the desire to continue education, work and become a better person. oryza.sociologist@unram.ac.id
