Abstract

The observation results show that Islamic values have not been integrated into learning mathematics through a scientific approach at State MTs on Morotai Island.When they teach material about relationships, they should give examples of relationships about the names of angels and their respective duties or the names of surahs in the Al-Quran.This study aims: (a) to describe the magnitude of student learning outcomes in the implementation of Islamic values through a scientific approach to class VII MTs students.Negeri Morotai, (b) to describe the magnitude of student learning outcomes in the implementation of Islamic values through conventional (deductive) approaches to class VII MTs students.Negeri Morotai and (c) to determine the effect of the implementation of Islamic values on learning outcomes between those who are taught using a scientific approach and those who are taught using conventional (deductive) approaches.The type of research used was quasi-experimental with a static group comparison design with a total sample of 36 students in the experimental class and 34 students in the control class.The instrument used was a cognitive test to find out student learning outcomes between classes that applied the implementation of Islamic values through a scientific approach as the experimental class and classes that 32 Djawa, Aksan & Azmar were given the implementation of Islamic values through a conventional (deductive) approach as the control class.The results showed that the experimental class student test average was 17.29 in the high category and the control class average score was 14.91 in the medium category.Furthermore, based on the inferential analysis of the independent t-test, a sig. value of 0.004 is less than 0.05, thus there is an influence on the implementation of Islamic values through a scientific approach to learning outcomes in class VII mathematics at MTs Negeri on Morotai Island.
