Abstract
Research on "the correlation between body weight and body size of young male Bali cattle raised semi-intensively" was conducted in April 2021. This study aims to determine the correlation between body weight and body size of young male Bali cattle raised semiintensively. The material used was the data on body weight and body size (body length, chest size, and shoulder height) of 34 young male Bali cattle. The correlation and the regression of the body weight and body size of young male Bali cattle were analyzed using the correlation and the regression multiple analysis with SPSS software. The results show a positive and very strong relationship between body weight and body sizes simultaneously with the correlation coefficient of 0.96 and the coefficient of determination of 0.919 with multiple regression equations, which was Y = -307.102 + 1.044X1 + 2.125X2 + 0.777 X3. The coefficient of the correlation between body weight and body length, chest circumference, and shoulder height respectively were 0.76; 0.93; 0.79 and the regression equation were Y = -185.761 + 3.562X; Y = -239,362 + 3.008X and Y = -238,188 + 3,716X.
