Abstract
This study aims to determine the strategy of the principal at SMAN Praya Barat in improving the quality of school graduates, by improving the quality of teacher performance, facilities and infrastructure, and the learning process. The research approach used is qualitative with a case study method. Interview techniques, observation and document studies are used to collect data. Data analysis through the process of data collection, data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Data validity checks are carried out by credibility tests with degrees of trust, transferability, dependency, and certainty. The results of the study show that (1) The strategy used by the principal in improving the quality of teacher performance is to use formal and non-formal strategies. (2) The strategy used by the principal in improving the quality of school facilities and infrastructure is based on an adaptive and responsive leadership attitude towards the importance of facilities and infrastructure which is followed up with concrete or real steps. (3) The strategy used by the principal in improving the quality of the learning process is to always update the latest learning methods or methods according to the applicable curriculum and the most important thing is to encourage and facilitate teachers in ongoing training and coaching activities.
