Abstract
Abstract The implementation of the garlic self-sufficiency policy in East Lombok Regency faces a serious threat from the flood of imported garlic which has the potential to affect farmers’ resilience amidst the high costs of garlic production. The research was conducted using the Descriptive Survey Method while data analysis was carried out using The Resilience Indicators for Measurement and Analysis (RIMA) based on four pillars of resilience: (i) access to basic services; (ii) control of assets and production facilities; (iii) social safety net; and (iv) adaptive capacity. The results show that the resilience capacity of garlic farmers in the East Lombok Regency is in the medium category. The dominant resilience lever is the existence of a garlic seed development program for the highlands. Next is easy access to basic needs services, and the habit of farmers carrying out multiple cropping on the land they control.
