Abstract
This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the use of Student Worksheets (LKPD) in increasing interest in learning mathematics in grade IX students of SMPN 3 Lingsar in the 2024/2025 academic year. The method used is a quasi-experimental study with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample was selected by purposive sampling. Data were collected using a mathematics learning interest questionnaire given before and after the implementation of LKPD. The results of data analysis showed a significant increase in students' interest in learning. The paired t-test showed that the difference in scores was significant (p <0.05). This study concludes that the use of LKPD can increase students' interest in learning mathematics, which in turn can have a positive impact on the quality of mathematics learning. Therefore, the application of LKPD as a learning medium is expected to be an effective alternative to increase students' interest and motivation in learning mathematics.
