Abstract
The use of hand sanitizer is one of the alternatives to maintain personal hygiene. Most commercial hand sanitizers on the market today contain alcohol for its ability to kill disease-causing microorganisms. At the same time, many natural ingredients have antiseptic properties and can be used to make natural hand sanitizers. It is hoped that with this training, the students at Ponpes Nashriyah NW Sekunyit will be able to develop entrepreneurial skills and utilize natural materials available in the environment to make them more useful or even valuable. This opens up the possibility of producing alternative hand sanitizers on a small or household scale. Therefore, training students to make hand sanitizer from natural ingredients is needed. In its implementation, this community service program includes preparation, consultation, and practice stages. This training yielded a number of positive results, including an increase in students' understanding of how to convert natural materials from the environment into hand sanitizer.
