Abstract

The rotating shaft in bearing receives a number of stressing that repeat and work at the same time, causing the shaft to bend at critical rotation. Repetitive movements over time intervals generate vibrations. The aim of this research is to measure the vibration values of bearing due to spinning shaft using an accelerometer and Arduino sensor device. The method used is to build a device for making miniature rotating machines which are used to simulate machine vibrations. The ADXL345 accelerometer measures the magnitudes of vibration that occurs on the rotating shaft. Arduino Uno becomes acquire data obtained from ADXL345. The amplitude, speed, acceleration and frequency values were measured according to rotation values. It was found the largest speed, acceleration, frequency and amplitude values were obtained at the radial point Y1 position
