Abstract
The Reading Tutoring Program (BimBel) at SDN 33 Cakranegara was established with the aim of helping students who cannot or have difficulty in reading. This study used observation and interview methods conducted during the first week of the assignment to collect data and identify 19 students who were not reading fluently, by describing the development of 4 students' reading skills. This program was implemented from Monday, October 14, 2024 to Friday, December 6, 2024, with a duration of 30 minutes of guidance every day. In the preparation stage, the writing team analyzed students' needs and prepared interesting learning media. The implementation phase involved intensive tutoring by five team members, who divided students by grade level. The results showed that students who participated in the program experienced significant improvements in reading skills, from letter recognition to fluent reading. The program not only improved students' reading skills, but also increased their confidence in learning. In conclusion, BimBel Membaca has a positive impact on students and helps teachers in the classroom learning process.
