Abstract

Organic waste, which is often discarded carelessly, can become a valuable resource if managed properly. One solution to reduce the negative impact of waste on the environment and enhance agricultural resilience is by processing organic waste into liquid fertilizer and compost. This training program was conducted in Sugian Village, Sambelia District, East Lombok Regency, to equip the community with skills to process household waste and livestock manure into organic fertilizer. The program involved 30 participants, including community leaders and youth group members. Through the delivery of material and hands-on practice, the participants gained an understanding of the importance of sustainable agriculture and the techniques for making liquid fertilizer and compost. As a result, participants showed high enthusiasm and are ready to implement the techniques learned to support environmentally friendly agriculture and reduce reliance on chemical fertilizers. This program successfully provided knowledge that can improve the community's welfare and contribute to environmental sustainability.
