Abstract
Natural disasters frequently occur in West Nusa Tenggara Province (NTB), largely due to its geographical position in a disaster-prone area. As a result, villages across NTB are highly vulnerable to disaster risks. This situation highlights the urgent need for improved disaster preparedness and mitigation efforts. The Disaster Resilient Village/Kelurahan Program (Destana) offers a strategic approach to enhancing community resilience. To ensure its effective implementation, it is essential to disseminate the Destana guidelines to both government stakeholders and local communities. This dissemination aims to align local policies and planning across the ten regencies/municipalities with the principles of Destana. By strengthening local government commitment and promoting coordinated action, the development and optimization of Destana initiatives can be more effectively realized. The expected outcome is a shared understanding and a practical implementation plan based on Governor Regulation No. 84 of 2022 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of Disaster Resilient Villages/Kelurahan in NTB Province.
