Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide preparation for students who will carry out an internship program in the hotel industry. This preparation is designed to improve students' readiness to face the real world of work, especially in the hotel sector which highly demands competence, professionalism, and mastery of soft skills and hard skills. The preparation material includes an understanding of the general overview of the hotel business, work ethics, attitude and appearance. This activity is carried out through lecture and question and answer methods. The results of the activity show that students gain a better understanding of the hotel business and are ready to apply ethics, attitudes and appearance according to the material presented.
