Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh penerapan model Think Pair Share (TPS) yang dipadukan dengan pop-up book terhadap keterampilan kolaborasi siswa pada mata pelajaran Sosiologi. Metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain Non-Equivalent Posttest-Only Control Group Design digunakan pada penelitian ini. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh siswa kelas X di SMAN 1 Gerung. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan melalui teknik simple random sampling dengan mempertimbangkan kesetaraan kelas, yang menghasilkan kelas X- D sebanyak 36 siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol dan X- I juga sebanyak 36 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran angket kepada siswa. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik parametrik melalui Independent Samples T-Test, setelah data dinyatakan memenuhi syarat normalitas dan homogenitas dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor kolaborasi siswa pada kelas eksperimen mencapai 45,16 lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol yang memperoleh skor rata-rata 41,75. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, diperoleh nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) <0,001 lebih rendah dari batas probabilitas 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model TPS berbantuan media pop-up book memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keterampilan kolaborasi siswa pada mata pelajaran Sosiologi. This study aims to determine whether or not there is an effect of implementing the Think Pair Share (TPS) model combined with a pop-up book on students’ collaboration skills in Sociology subjects. A quasi-experimental method with a Non-Equivalent Posttest-Only Control Group Design was employed in this research. The population consisted of all 10th-grade students at SMAN 1 Gerung. The sample was selected using a simple random sampling technique by considering class equivalence, resulting in class X-D with 36 students as the control group and class X-I with 36 students as the experimental group. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to students. The data obtained were then analyzed using parametric statistical tests through the Independent Samples T-Test, after being confirmed to meet the requirements of normality and homogeneity at a significance level of 0.05. The analysis showed that the average collaboration score of students in the experimental class reached 45.16, higher than the control class with an average score of 41.75. Based on these findings, the significance value (2-tailed) <0.001 was lower than the probability threshold of 0.05, indicating that the TPS model assisted by pop-up books had a significant effect on students’ collaboration skills in Sociology subjects.
