Abstract

Sembalun Lawang Village is one of the tourist villages in Sembalun District, East Lombok Regency based on the Decree of the Governor West Nusa Tenggara corncerning the Determination of 99 Tourist Village in West Nusa Tenggara Province. The purpose of the community service was to increase the understanding and legal awareness of the Sembalun Lawang Tourism Village community regarding the Supervision of Foreigners. The activity used a participatory approach, followed by focus group discussion (FGD), to gather information on foreign tourist activities in the Sembalun Lawang Tourist Village area. In conclution, the participation of the Sembalun Lawang Village community in the Supervision of Foreigners was carried out together with the Foreigner Supervision Team in Sembalun District, the members consist of elemens from: the Immigration Office; the sector Police; the military Rayon Command; the Sub-district Government; and the Village Government. Until now, the Foreigner Surveillance Team in Sembalun District has never conducted surveillance in the Sembalun Lawang Village area. The community only recently learned that there is a Foreigner Surveillance Team at the Sembalun District level. The digital nomad phenomenon was only discovered by the public during legal counseling sessions. Generaly, foreign tourist stay outside Sembalun Lawang Village, so the pay less attention to the activities of these tourist.
