Abstract
This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach in economic empowerment in Labuan Kertasari Village, West Sumbawa. The village possesses promising MSMEs and creative economy potential, yet development is hindered by limited branding skills, lack of digital marketing knowledge, and low business legality, which restricts access to financial support. The study was conducted from July 12–22, 2025, involving local MSMEs and youth. A qualitative ABCD-based method was applied through participatory observation, interviews, and documentation. The main activities included asset identification, graphic design training to enhance product branding, business management mentoring, and facilitation of business permit issuance. The results indicate improved MSME capacity in management and digital promotion, an increase in legally registered businesses, and strengthened community awareness of utilizing local assets independently. These findings affirm that the ABCD approach effectively optimizes existing community strengths and contributes to local economic self-reliance.
