Abstract
The problem studied in this research is the relationship between philosophy and language and what is meant by philosophy of language. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between philosophy and linguistics and to understand the concept of linguistic philosophy itself. The data collection methods used are the library method and the observation method with advanced techniques in the form of tapping techniques. Meanwhile, the data analysis method uses the Miles and Huberman model. The results of this research show that there is a strong relationship between philosophy and language. Next, related to the definition of philosophy, language is defined as a science that focuses on in-depth investigation of the language used in philosophy. The philosophy of language itself has language as its object of study. Apart from that, philosophy of science also has various benefits, both in general and for language research.
