Abstract

Manual monitoring of water tank levels and quality is often inefficient, leading to potential water wastage and equipment damage. Most existing systems primarily focus on monitoring water levels without considering water quality. This study designs an automatic monitoring system based on the Internet of Things (menggunakan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT)), utilizing a NodeMCU ESP8266 as the main controller, an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor to detect water surface height, and a turbidity sensor to measure water clarity. Data are transmitted in real time to the Blynk application, and automatic notifications are sent via Telegram when the water is detected as turbid. The prototype development method was applied, covering stages of design, assembly, programming, and system testing. Based on the test results, the system successfully measured water level and clarity with high accuracy, displayed data clearly on the LCD and Blynk, and controlled the water pump automatically according to the designed logic. This system provides a practical solution for users to efficiently monitor and manage water while contributing to the development of more comprehensive menggunakan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT)- based water monitoring technology
