Abstract

This study focuses on the development of a professional teacher performance assessment instrument grounded in Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK). Addressing identified gaps in the evaluation of teacher effectiveness, particularly in integrating technology with pedagogy and content, the research designs a robust assessment tool that measures practical application of these competencies in educational settings. Through a rigorous methodological approach, including theoretical and empirical testing, the instrument was validated with a representative sample of 350 professional teachers using factor analysis and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results affirmed the tool’s reliability and validity, achieving a high goodness of fit across multiple indices, demonstrating its efficacy in providing comprehensive evaluations of teacher performance. The study contributes significantly to the field by offering an instrument that not only assesses the traditional pedagogical skills of teachers but also the proficiency in incorporating technology into the teaching practices.
