Abstract
The Guru Bangkol – Nuraksa Street intersection is one of the unsignalized intersections in Mataram City located in a densely populated residential area, with commercial services, services including health and education, thus having high traffic potential. This raises the need for research on intersection performance analysis. This research was conducted using two analyses, namely based on the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI) and Gap Acceptance (GA). The results of the data analysis show that based on the MKJI, the level of service (LOS) of the intersection is E because it has a saturation degree of 0.94. Meanwhile, based on GA, the LOS of the intersection is in category D, because it has a delay of 28,880 seconds/vehicle. This difference is potentially caused by the behavior of drivers who use areas that are not intended for their intended use such as the shoulder, sidewalk and opposite lane. In the future, research is highly expected on the utilization of road safety support spaces that have the potential to cause side obstacles around the intersection
