Abstract
Post-Covid-19, the tourism sector remains in recovery, necessitating innovation and strategic promotion to attract tourists. Muslim tourists, a significant market, are particularly impacted by the development of halal tourism by Indonesia's Ministry of Tourism since 2015. However, halal tourism faces challenges, such as accessibility and information accuracy. To address these, Universitas Mataram and PT Reganda Persada, with tourism stakeholders, propose a digital platform designed for Muslim tourists. A backend system was developed to meet all tourist needs using Scrum methodology, implementing features like hotel and transportation bookings, travel packages, and more. Built with REST API technology, it includes authentication and authorization, using HAPI JS, PostgreSQL (PSQL), and Redis for secure, efficient data management. Service-based development supports integrated cross-platform applications. Postman and frontend API integration tests validate the system's success in offering comprehensive features for halal tourism experiences.
