Abstract
Business legality is an important aspect in strengthening institutional capacity and competitiveness of farmer groups. However, limited digital literacy, legal understanding, and technical assistance remain major obstacles for rural communities in accessing business legalization services. This community service program aimed to provide business law assistance and digitalization of farm business legality through an AI-assisted Online Single Submission (AI-OSS) system for the Lombok Organic farmer group in Jurit Village, East Lombok. AI-OSS in this program refers to the integration of artificial intelligence-based recommendation features that assist users in identifying licensing requirements, preparing legal documents, and guiding OSS form completion more efficiently. The program involved 20 participants consisting of farmer group administrators and members. The implementation stages included socialization, workshops on business law and OSS, implementation of AI-OSS technology, intensive mentoring, and evaluation using observation, interviews, and a 5-point Likert scale satisfaction survey. The results showed an increase in participants’ understanding regarding cooperative legality and digital licensing systems. Approximately 80% of participants were able to independently operate the OSS system, while 85% reported that the AI recommendation feature simplified the legalization process. The outputs included cooperative legal documents, an AI-assisted web application called Legalin, training modules, a handbook, and a cooperative website. The program contributed to accelerating legalization processes, strengthening institutional governance, and improving farmer readiness toward digital transformation in rural economic development.
