Abstract
This study aims to explain the pattern of transformation in the economic structure and labor structure using the Chenery model in West Nusa Tenggara from 2014 to 2024. The data used is the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and the population aged 15 and above in the Main Industry. The research results indicate that there has been a transformation in the economic structure and labor structure in West Nusa Tenggara during the observation period. The contribution of the primary and tertiary sectors to the GRDP is increasing, while the secondary sector is declining. The role of the primary and secondary sectors in absorbing the workforce is decreasing, while the tertiary sector is increasing. The pattern of economic structure transformation is the pattern of “Primary - Secondary - Tertiary” according to the Chenery model. Whereas the transformation of the labor structure follows a “Primary - Tertiary - Secondary” pattern, unlike Chenery's model.
