Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze: (1) the influence of academic supervision on teacher professionalism, (2) the influence of work culture on teacher professionalism, (3) the influence of religious attitudes on teacher professionalism, and (4) the influence of academic supervision, work culture, and religious attitudes together on the professionalism of Madrasah Tsanawiyah teachers in Mataram City. The research method is quantitative, with a survey approach. The population in this study were all Madrasah Tsanawiyah teachers in Mataram City, totaling 499 people, with a sample of 222 respondents determined using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique and the Slovin formula at a significance level of 5%. Data collection was conducted using questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques included descriptive and inferential statistical analyses using simple and multiple linear regression in SPSS. The results of the study showed that: (1) Academic supervision had a positive and significant effect on teacher professionalism. (2) Work culture had a positive and significant effect on teacher professionalism, and was the most dominant variable. (3) Religious attitudes have a positive and significant influence on teacher professionalism, with a contribution of 8.1%. (4) Simultaneously, academic supervision, work culture, and religious attitudes have a significant influence on teacher professionalism, with a coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.713, which means that these three variables contribute 71.3% to teacher professionalism, while the remaining 28.7% is influenced by other factors outside this research model.
