Abstract
Mathematical critical thinking remains low, requiring investigation into the roles of growth mindset and self-efficacy in this ability .This study aimed to determine the relationship between growth mindset and self-efficacy toward the mathematical critical thinking ability of eleventh-grade students at SMAN 1 Dompu in the 2025/2026 academic year. This study employed a quantitative approach using an ex-post facto method. The population consisted of all eleventh-grade students totaling 213 students, with a sample of 68 students selected through proportional stratified random sampling. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between growth mindset and mathematical critical thinking ability, with a correlation coefficient value of and a contribution of .In addition, there was also a positive and significant relationship between self-efficacy and mathematical critical thinking ability, with a correlation coefficient value of and a contribution of .Simultaneously, growth mindset and self-efficacy had a very strong relationship with mathematical critical thinking ability, with a correlation coefficient value of and a contribution of toward students' mathematical critical thinking ability. Therefore, it can be concluded that the higher the students' growth mindset and self-efficacy, the higher their mathematical critical thinking ability.
